#2: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Episode IX): December 20, 2019
The third installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy series is expected to be the ultimate battle of the Jedi and Sith, culminating the Skywalker saga. The movie will be directed by J.J. Abrams, hopefully answering all the unanswered questions left by the Resistance and First Order in the 8th episode, The Last Jedi.


#3: Aquarela: August 16, 2019
This 90 minute documentary is going to be pure cinematic art. Aquarela is a visceral piece showing the strength of the Earth’s most natural resource, water. It shows how humans are no match to water’s raw willpower, as water’s many personalities are captured in this film, sure to visually astound you.

This horror sequel to popular movie IT brings back Pennywise the clown in all his evil glory. Twenty-seven years after their last encounter with Pennywise, the Losers Club had expanded and moved away, until a terrifying phone call brings them back. Fans of IT should tune in for  IT’s continuation of a thrilling horror.

Animated movies are getting a new addition with Abominable, a movie about a magical and friendly Yeti who must return back home to his family with help from his human friend. Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven leave Arendelle to go on a journey to find the origin of Elsa’s powers and save Arendelle. They travel through an Autumn forest in an enchanted land and face dangers and adventure at every turn. Fans of Frozen will delight in a second installment to their favorite Disney princesses’ return.

2000’s classic film Charlie’s Angels is getting a reboot with a new 2019 film based on the 1970’s television series. The film is starring Aladdin actress Naomi Scott, Kristen Stewart, and Noah Centineo. Three women detectives with a mysterious boss use technology and sex appeal to breathe life into this action and adventure/comedy mashup film.


#9: Legally Blonde 3: February 14, 2020
Reese Witherspoon is set to reenact her character of Elle Woods, set 15 years after the original Legally Blonde films. Valentine’s Day 2020 will bring the release of the new film, hopefully taking on icon status like the other Legally Blonde movies.

Wonder Woman is getting a sequel! Gal Gadot is set to play Wonder Woman again in this upcoming 2020 movie. Wonder Woman (2017) made 821.8 million in the Box Office, so it will be interesting to see how this film will fare!
